1971Born in Saitama, Japan
1994Graduated from the Department of Photography, College of Art, Nihon University
1996Participated in the fourth artist-in-residence program in Hinode-cho,Tokyo
1998Stayed in New York on a fellowship from Asian Cultural Council
1999Stayed in Amsterdam as a guest artist at Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunstverein (1999/2000)
2004Moved to Berlin, Germany and stayed until 2016
2005Stayed in East Africa on a fellowship from Pola Art Foundation
Lives and works in Okinawa, Japan
